Hi everyone! We will be out of the woodshop Oct 26- November 6. Because of our travels during that time, we will be away from the phone & computers (email).
We apologize in advance for the inconvenience. We've got to travel and hear some LIVE 'gurdy music sometime, right? We'll be back in November, to 'crank' out more hurdy gurdies!

We are very pleased to announce that Jimmy Herman (banjo player/fiddler for the Carrie Underwood band!) plays an Altarwind Hurdy Gurdy! We are super excited to announce that we just crafted a hurdy gurdy for Jimmy Herman. If you haven't heard his name, you've almost certainly heard his music, as he plays fiddle, banjo & cittern for Carrie Underwood.
We had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy at Ms. Underwood's recent concert in Portland Or, where we delivered the instrument. We are very excited that these wonderfully unusual instruments are gaining a stronger presence in pop & country music. We are thrilled that these wonderful & unusual isntruments are gaining a stronger presence in pop & country music. |
